Eric Kline
Welcome reader to RightMind-LeftBrain. Why RightMind-LeftBrain you may reasonably ask? It’s a metaphor for the way we humans process information; our brains, as you know, have two hemispheres: Right and Left. The Right Hemisphere substantially processes information to yield relational and subjective inferences, while the Left substantially processes information to yield analytical and objective inferences. I am not positing that all people, or even some, have Right or Left dominance; clearly, we process information best when both hemispheres cooperate fully.
As Plato taught ca. 2400 years ago, “there are two types of knowledge, objective and subjective” (paraphrased from Euthyphro Dialogues of the Republic). Plato was right and Modern Man’s understanding of epistemology has advanced little since.
One may be tempted to promote objective knowledge over subjective, we routinely do so in may spheres of cognitive pursuits (science, engineering, and other objective frames routinely and intentionally do this). However, I would respectively posit that while objective knowledge may teach man how to build a nuclear weapon, only subjective knowledge can inform him whether, if ever, it should be used, and if so, under what circumstances. Thus, the import of subjective knowledge must never be devalued or subordinated; it gives us the path to our “better angles,” appreciation of the good, beauty, right, honor, valor.
Thought for the Week
RightMind
The purpose of RightMind is to address the theodicy question of, “Is God Good?” This journey is meant for searcher or seeker, but it’s especially intended for those, whether believers or not, that have been deeply traumatized and crushed under the weight of burned too awesome to bear.

About Us
Men and women are not opposites, we are complements. We each have different strengths and weaknesses. Yet, when we cooperatively combine, the outcome is beneficial to each of us individually, as a couple, and the human community is well served.
